Our teas are grown at a relatively high elevation of 2,064 meters above sea level, about 60 kilometers from Kenya’s equator, where the climate is ideal for tea growing. The soils in this area are well drained and rich in organic matter.

Our Teas

Our black tea is processed from fresh tea leaves that are allowed to ferment completely before drying.

Specialty Teas

Green Tea
Our green tea is made from mature tea leaves that undergo minimal oxidation before processing. It is dried instead of being fermented, making it a very healthy and relaxing drink with a natural taste.
White Tea
White tea is the most premium of all our teas. It derives its name from the silver-white hair on the unopened buds. Our white tea is from the finest hand-picked buds and young leaves of the tea plant, without undergoing any fermentation at all.
Purple Tea
Purple tea is obtained from a purple-leafed varietal of the tea plant. Our purple tea undergoes minimal oxidation and fermentation before being heated and dried. Purple tea has more antioxidants than any of our other teas.
Orthodox Tea
Black orthodox is oxidized tea produced through rolling machines. Black Orthodox grading is by leaf size, texture and style.
